Hi all.  Over the last couple of days I have been having fun with a die from Sizzix called “For the Birds”  Here are the results.

They are designed to be little bird cages. The die set includes branches, leaves, birds and sentiments.  I decided to make them into cute little gift boxes.

I’m now imagining them in all sorts of colours.  I think they would make cute little Christmas gifts to hang on the tree and give to a friend, neighbour or even teacher.

The little bird house measures approx. 10cm tall when put together.

Supplies:

  • Sizzix Thinlits Dies “For the Birds”
  • Gold Mirror Card
  • Tombow Liquid Glue
  • Ribbon, flower and bells from my stash
  • (I’ve included 4 Lindt Lindor chocolate balls in each but I think 5 would fit in …… yum)
