Looking through my stash today I came across several Kaisercraft Wooden Flourishes which must have been in the draw for years.  The anchor caught my eye and that was the beginning of today’s card.

During my rummage I also came across some self-adhesive cork sheets.  Perfect for this I thought.  Another find was a cute little anchor charm.

I’m sure that I have some “piratey” stamps somewhere but I couldn’t find them. (Note to self – tidy and sort stamps again). 🙂  So being unable to find a sentiment stamp which would suit the card I went on line and found an “A’hoy” which I adapted to suit the card.

My props for the photos today were easy to find and I think they worked well.  Blue sparkly tissue paper to represent water, shells my parents had found on their tour around Australia many years ago, and finally a sheet of scrapbooking paper.

Supplies:

  • Kaisercraft –  craft card, wooden flourish anchor & adhesive cork
  • Echo Park paper – Dots & Stripes
  • Small rectangle of white card
  • Anchor charm from my stash
  • Twine
  • Computer generated “Ahoy”

Thanks for dropping by today.

Smiles,

Lorraine
