Christmas trees rate highly in the cards I have been making for Christmas so far this year. That wasn’t intentional but just how it has turned out.
The first card uses a set of stamps from JustRite Clear “O Christmas Tree”. This is a set I have had for many years so it was well over due to be used. Actually the final result was far from how I first imagined it but I am still pleased with the result.
The background paper is from Kaisercraft “Mint Wishes Collection”. The tree was embossed with white embossing power and the sentiment was stamped using Ranger Archival Ink “Tree Branch” which I thought went well with the kraft card (you can’t really see the actual colour in the photo).
Next up is a card which I spotted by a MFT Design Team member, Donna Mikasa. The stamp set is “Oh Christmas Tree”. The sentiment is also from MFT “Hand Lettered Christmas”.
I have only changed the frame which Donna used and matted the front panel with a lovely green coloured cardstock which I also used for the trees.
I am pleased with my progress on my Christmas cards this year (not even December and I have 7 completed). I might even get them posted by the end of the week – MIGHT 🙂
I’ll be back soon with another sample of Christmas cards.
