Six papercraft fans and I got together last Saturday to make some cards and off-the-page projects. I think we all enjoyed ourselves. 😛 Card making can be such fun and relaxing. Perhaps we did too much chatting 😕 or perhaps we just didn’t have time to start on the final project so everyone took their fourth kit home to make.
Today I received an email from one friend with a copy of an easel card made with the kit. I love it.
I have to admit that I think the gerberas are prettier than the original card I made with roses. This card was all about embossing an image with white embossing powder and then colouring it with Distress Ink pads. The other element about this card was making a die-cut easel card. Isn’t that die gorgeous. Julie tells me that it is QuickKutz Nesting Doily Circles.
Has anyone else tried their kit? If you have would love to see it.
Bye for now,
