After our lovely day on Saturday picking strawberries we decided to go to Tuckerberry Orchard on Sunday to pick some blueberries.
This is the sign on the gate of the orchard. Luckily our 2 year old dgs can’t read – he had a lovely time but his bucket was empty when we finished – he loved them. 😆
The bushes (and there are thousands) are all enclosed in bird wire.
Blueberries everywhere – blueberry heaven for a little boy.
They also had strawberries, avocados and trees laden with lemons.
Next we went to an hydroponic Farm Gate.
I think they had a busy day because the stock was low but it all looked lovely and fresh.
The fruit has been beautiful and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Bye for now,

Lovely photos Lorraine. My favourite is the tomatoes. If mine only looked that good 🙂

Julie I have a little confession to make. The photo of the tomatoes is a photo of a photo which was displayed at the cash register. I asked if we were allowed to go into the hot houses but we weren’t allowed for various reasons so second best was to take a photo of the photo of the inside of the hothouses. They had beautiful little “strings” of tiny tomatoes for sale as well as the usual suspects and Roma. We bought a bag of beautiful Romas. They had NO imperfections so I was a bit dubious thinking they might have NO taste, but they were very tasty. Lorraine
